The stay was extraordinary, feeling like a journey through time thanks to the exquisite craftsmanship of the room, complete with a cozy fireplace and unique decor. Sipping tea in front of the warm fire while immersed in the home’s rich history was a highlight. The holiday decorations added an extra touch of charm, creating a picturesque atmosphere. However, temperature control in the room was a bit frustrating and inconsistent, which slightly detracted from the experience. Generally, it was a fantastic getaway, ideal for both relaxation and exploration.

pleasant stay with minor annoyances
I appreciated the historical significance of the home, it added a unique charm. The gardens were lovely and well-kept, making for a great spot to relax. Also, the convenience of having a kayak launch right on the lake was a huge bonus!
However, the air conditioning system struggled to keep the room cool during the warm evening.
